Rustproof Galvanized Stud Track Drywall Partition Omega Furring Channel
This rustproof stud track line serves drywall partition walls and suspended ceilings, and includes the omega furring channel used to level ceiling boards.
Light steel keel is roll formed in one single cold bending pass; the C stud and U track combine into a stable metal frame skeleton, with accurate web and flange dimensions and uniform stiffness. It carries load steadily and resists deformation, so the installed wall keeps a high flatness. Together with gypsum board it finishes drywall partition and suspended ceiling work quickly, fitting all kinds of residential, commercial and industrial projects.
A dense zinc layer seals the profile against damp air, so the framing keeps its finish in basements, car parks and other humid service spaces.
The omega furring channel clips across the main runners to level the ceiling plane, hiding small slab unevenness before the boards go up.
Studs lock into the floor and head track at a set pitch, forming a partition strong enough to carry doors, boards and light wall fittings.
Light weight members cut haulage and lifting effort, so a small crew can shift and stand large volumes of framing in a short time.
The metal wall frame is straight and stable, giving a flat base for paint, wallpaper and tiling over the finished drywall surface.
