Cold Rolled Furring Channel Galvanized Metal Stud Drywall Framing Steel Profile
The furring channel and stud profile here are cold formed from galvanized strip, giving a uniform section that lines up neatly across large ceiling and wall areas.
Light steel keel is roll formed in one single cold bending pass; the C stud and U track combine into a stable metal frame skeleton, with accurate web and flange dimensions and uniform stiffness. It carries load steadily and resists deformation, so the installed wall keeps a high flatness. Together with gypsum board it finishes drywall partition and suspended ceiling work quickly, fitting all kinds of residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Cold roll forming keeps the wall thickness even along the profile, so the furring channel does not wander or twist once it is fixed to the ceiling grid.
A tight zinc layer covers the full surface and the cut ends, allowing the metal stud to hold up in humid and mildly corrosive indoor conditions.
Slim, prepunched sections make handling simple, so two installers can raise and secure a full room of framing within a single working day.
The steel keel pairs with gypsum, fiber cement and mineral boards, and it can also carry the horizontal furring that levels a suspended ceiling.
